When are your cut-off days?
Our air freight cut-off closures to Suriname are every Wednesday and Saturday from 09:00 to 16:00. Sea freight cut-off to Suriname are every Saturday until 18:00.
Where can I pick up my package in Suriname?
Your parcel can be collected from 1 of the PICO branches, see Branches Suriname for all pick-up addresses.
By whom are boxes opened?
Packages are randomly opened by customs, this is done at the head office in Hoofddorp or at the customs warehouse at Schiphol / Vlissingen as well as the airport / port in Suriname.
If glass or earthenware are shipped, are we as customers insured against this?
Dispatch of glass and/or earthenware is at your own risk. However, we can offer our professional packaging service at all times.
If I collect my package in Suriname what costs can I expect?
In Suriname, local handling fees are charged per parcel. Customs import duties are set locally by customs.

In which places do you collect boxes from home?
We collect boxes in the cities where our branches are located. If you fall outside this region, we can serve you by mutual agreement.
I received a package from Suriname but stuff is missing how to proceed?
All packages from Suriname are 100% checked by customs. Customs takes spot checks on certain products. If prohibited items are found, they will be confiscated. If you do not agree with this, you can contact us via this link file your complaint.
My box is damaged and I am missing goods, will I be reimbursed?
We will reimburse a maximum of €50. You will find the conditions on the back of your shipping form.
Can I pay all charges in advance in the Netherlands?
Both handling and delivery costs can be paid in the Netherlands.
Can I also send parcels in my own box , or must it always be in a box from SAC?
As long as your own box is sturdy enough, you may send it. However, it is strongly recommended to use a SAC box because of our quality packing boxes.
Can I also send a container through you?

How can I send a parcel from France to Suriname?
If you are outside the Netherlands or Belgium, there is the option of having your package delivered to our head office via DHL/UPS, and we will take care of the transit to Suriname. Send us an email to discuss the possibilities.
Can I also order goods and have them delivered to you?
All your online purchases can be delivered to us, and we provide transport to Suriname.
I want to send a parcel, can all costs be paid in Suriname?
Yes, the option exists to send your parcel cash on delivery. All costs will be paid in Suriname.
