Since 1992, the company has developed into one of the largest freight forwarders focusing on cargo between the Netherlands and Suriname vice-versa.

Besides the head office in Hoofddorp, for the benefit of private customers, there are 10 branches spread across the country, namely in Amsterdam, Almere, The Hague and Rotterdam, Utrecht and Antwerp in Belgium.

On June 1st 2017, Surinam Air Cargo opened a customs warehouse in Suriname under the name Paramaribo Int. Cargo Office ( PICO ). Through PICO, all air / sea freight shipments are handled and also inspected by customs. Today, PICO with its 8 branches in Suriname is a household name among the community.
