Surinam Air Cargo has made it possible for you as a private individual to easily send your package(s) by air or sea freight to your family, friend or acquaintances in Suriname at one of our branches located in the capital cities.
After delivering your box at our shop, fill out the shipping form after which your parcel(s) will receive its own parcel code. After this, it will be carefully shipped to Paramaribo. Various packaging materials are available in all our shops such as: Empty boxes, various adhesive tapes, bubble wrap and packing chips.
Once your parcel(s) have arrived in Paramaribo, recipients are notified by phone or text message that their parcel may be collected from one of the PICO branches.

The procedure for collecting your air or sea parcel package at PICO
You will be notified by phone or text message that your parcel has arrived (parcel number is in your text message).
You register at PICO's import desk.
You pay the local handling chargesfrom PICO.
You report to the customs warehouse.
You will be called by one of the PICO staff and report to customs.
Customs will inspect your package on the spot, if the customs determines that based on the contents of your package duties should be paid, this should be settled at PICO’s import desk.
Once you have paid the import duty, you may collect your package.
